Mission Exchange 2018… The undertakings of God’s community…
By: Bro Norwil Baguio (SFC Qatar Mission Coordinator)
The evangelization continues as we proclaim God’s love through CFC's Mission Exchange program. Coordinators across the Middle East Region brainstormed and discussed the details of this year’s mission exchange activities.
It was on April 24 2018 when Bro Jojerry Marcado-a full time pastoral worker invited the ME CFC Council, Governance Team, SFC National Couple Coordinators, Regional Coordinators and Country Coordinators from different countries to officially announce Mission Exchange 2018. Since then, the respective Mission Exchange Coordinators have proactively disseminated the good news through marketing campaigns in various forms. Social media outlets like Facebook, Messenger, Whatsapp, YouTube as well as in SFC events like the Unit Head teachings and ME United 2018 are just a few of the common medium used in order to ensure that information will reach every brother and sister in the CFC community.
God’s undeniable love to his people never stops as he continues to bless the program by expanding its reach to countries such as Cyprus, Jordan, Lebanon, and Malawi. For the record there are about 100 missionaries in the Middle East who had the chance to experience mission works to countries like Iraq, Uganda, Burundi, Seychelles, Oman, India, Swaziland and Rwanda in 2017. Program schedule for this year are out and ready for volunteer brothers and sisters who would like to share the many gifts they have received may it be time, talent or treasure.
This year marks another milestone for CFC as we celebrated our 36th year as a community of God who fulfills its mission by bringing Christ to the very basic unit of society, the family. God’s assurance of faithfulness to his people never ceases, the above mentioned countries were affirmations that our God is a living God.
Let us continue to rekindle our faith to Him by serving our brothers and sisters through mission exchange. In this manner we allow God to accomplish His plan to His people through us. As a living witness of God’s love, we have the responsibility to spread the good news to all and be torch bearer of God’s light to world.
“... And you will be the witness for me…to the ends of the Earth”. Acts 1:8
